In the 7th minute Özgür Özbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Gavilanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Buturugã took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Giro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mathias Gavilanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özgür Özbay in the 11th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, LOI's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Giro came free, but George Buturugã reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When A T A B E Y - Fener45's Robustiano Giro in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. LOI's Hüseyin Cahit Gökdoğan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nelsinho Pinho in the 31 minute of the game. A well-hit corner resulted in Atak Koral heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 40th minute Sulo Montaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Gavilanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathias Gavilanes was a little too slow when Sulo Montaña got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Mathias Gavilanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulo Montaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nelsinho Pinho during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. LOI's Atak Koral was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mathias Gavilanes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 89 minutes into the game, LOI's Sulo Montaña nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mathias Gavilanes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0.
