Ismael Esparza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Vanden Driessche in the 8th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Atlético Patoruzu's Graig Robles ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Diederiek Gijselinckx. Diederiek Gijselinckx yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A collision led to KV Schoonwater getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ivo Streels hit a great ball. If Tyrell Cochran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Esparza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constant Van den Gans, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Atlético Patoruzu's goal looked a bit too open when Jullian Deville came free, but Ismael Esparza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to KV Schoonwater getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Carl Van Cleijnenbruegel hit a great ball. Ricardo Moore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Diederiek Gijselinckx made a huge save. Ismael Esparza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Vanden Driessche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Mattias Vanden Driessche made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Esparza. Atlético Patoruzu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.

Eliseo Cavazos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diederiek Gijselinckx having to interfere. Eliseo Cavazos might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diederiek Gijselinckx. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Cavazos ran back to his position shaking his head. Merle Tomlinson's late challenge caught a KV Schoonwater's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Merle Tomlinson helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Patoruzu's zone, Olliver Keuppens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Esparza came out of the goal and Olliver Keuppens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Eliseo Cavazos came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Atlético Patoruzu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Cavazos couldn't finish the play. Atlético Patoruzu's Merle Tomlinson got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered Merle Tomlinson off the ground. After 68 played minutes Atlético Patoruzu got a freekick which was hit by Merle Tomlinson. In the 71st minute, Mattias Vanden Driessche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diederiek Gijselinckx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Chappelle went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Diederiek Gijselinckx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Chappelle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in KV Schoonwater's zone, Emilio Chappelle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diederiek Gijselinckx came out of the goal and Emilio Chappelle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseo Cavazos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Atlético Patoruzu had won after a very even match.
