In the 65thth minute of the game Bailey Kerns who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Germania München's Richard Mühsam was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kasper Rechkemmer got free with Peter Steele in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peter Steele was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Karsten Zentner showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 90 minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Jorge Pirani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richard Mühsam narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The PALMEIRAS-UTAH fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Germania München were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
