After 15 minutes of play, The Masters's Francisco Innocenzio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mario Cejas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mario Cejas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Arce in the 21st minute of play. In the 44th match minute, The Masters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Cebo to maneuver through the defense. After the first half The Masters were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute of the match, Federico Jurdan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mario Cejas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 55th minute Franco Alfonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Cejas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Padrón 1744's Mario Cejas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Jurdan in the 58th minute of play. Folkert Vos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nereo Pes's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. With a little luck, Padrón 1744's Mario Cejas got control of the ball when Franco Alfonso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nereo Pes's late challenge caught a The Masters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nereo Pes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Padrón 1744 getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Nereo Pes hit a great ball.

The Masters's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
