An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 3rd minute of play forced Centeno's goalkeeper Reynaldo Dominguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Afonso da Cunha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reynaldo Dominguez. Centeno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afonso da Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Bernabel came free, but Rogério Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Jonatan Mateo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Herbert Skrzypiec, made in the 16th minute of the game. It was a well-played corner which Afonso da Cunha managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Reynaldo Dominguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 21st minute of play. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Rogério Ceni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Belgrano LOS PIRATAS from getting a goal against them. Matias Eleazar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Rogério Ceni made a huge save. 31 minutes into the match, Matias Eleazar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rogério Ceni. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matias Eleazar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Centeno's goal looked a bit too open when Cumhur Günay came free, but Reynaldo Dominguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chesney Colman in the 40th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 43 minutes into the game, when Jonatan Mateo put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Jonatan Mateo got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 45 played minutes, Centeno's Abelardo Bernabel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rogério Ceni came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Centeno reached it. After a rather tough play, Centeno's Abelardo Bernabel got a free kick in the 47th minute.

In the 55th match minute, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Belgrano LOS PIRATAS getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Caleb Law hit a great ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Abelardo Bernabel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centeno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Bernabel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS made a substitution. Octavio Roldanillo replaced Chesney Colman. Centeno's Gogo Clodio was substituted for Aaron Tibalt. 74 minutes into the match, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Guillermo Frank sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reynaldo Dominguez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guillermo Frank could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Reynaldo Dominguez made a huge save. Gogo Clodio kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st match minute, Centeno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Clodio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Hartz in the 87th minute of play forced Centeno's goalkeeper Reynaldo Dominguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.

In the 99th minute, Toro Halland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Centeno's Toro Halland slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rogério Ceni. That made the score 2-1 after 105 minutes of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Centeno fans cheered their team off the field, for while Belgrano LOS PIRATAS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
