The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Consejo del Mate:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Real Llull de Reus:s goal. 16 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dadá Maravilha. 17 minutes into the match, Real Llull de Reus's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Kemen came free, but Ignacio Parra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes Consejo del Mate's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ralf Björk who took care of the corner kick. Dadá Maravilha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute Alvaro Castel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Parra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dadá Maravilha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Castel made a kick off. Ignacio Parra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Castel in the 56th minute of the match. When Dadá Maravilha came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Real Llull de Reus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dadá Maravilha couldn't finish the play. Consejo del Mate made a substitution. Bolo Bolaño replaced Vicente Santana. Real Llull de Reus made a substitution. Coronel Castro replaced Dadá Maravilha. Real Llull de Reus made a substitution. Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Coronel Castro in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute Alvaro Castel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Parra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamberto Bencoiechea, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. A nice corner shot did that Ralf Björk got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hugo Orlando Gatti quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julio Kemen took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ignacio Parra. Ignacio Parra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Ralf Björk hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Ignacio Parra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Castel in the 94th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Lamberto Bencoiechea put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti.

The Real Llull de Reus supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Consejo del Mate's performance. The match ended with a win for Consejo del Mate.
