Christophe Troxler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Malta in the 7th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Christophe Troxler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francesco Coscia. 18 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's goal looked a bit too open when Erwin Jadamowitz came free, but Christophe Troxler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liu Xing Qiang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Álvarez in the 26th minute of the match. Cristian Leizaur kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Agustín Álvarez took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Liu Xing Qiang. Liu Xing Qiang dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 37 minutes Montevideo City Torque's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Corrado Mancini who took care of the corner kick. Reuben Meade hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Corrado Mancini shot from long distance after 38 played minutes, a shot that Christophe Troxler with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Liu Xing Qiang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Álvarez in the 40th minute of play. Christophe Troxler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francesco Coscia in the 44th minute. Liu Xing Qiang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Leizaur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Leizaur's late challenge caught a Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Leizaur helped the player get up and apologised. The Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Montevideo City Torque were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erwin Jadamowitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Erwin Jadamowitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Christophe Troxler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christophe Troxler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Coscia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Montevideo City Torque defense, Serafim Malta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christophe Troxler. The Montevideo City Torque fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christophe Troxler should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Álvarez got free with Liu Xing Qiang in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Liu Xing Qiang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC from getting a goal against them. Liu Xing Qiang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Álvarez in the 79th minute. Montevideo City Torque's Berdaitz Coyences was substituted for Cristian Leizaur. In the 85th minute, Edgardo Soto Tapia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Genaro Carredelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liu Xing Qiang having to interfere. In the 91st minute Serafim Malta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christophe Troxler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christophe Troxler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Maiorano in the 92nd minute of play. Liu Xing Qiang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Álvarez in the 93rd minute.
