When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albano Esiquio made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiago Azevedo got free with Paulino Lain in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulino Lain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Paulo Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerson Goiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Paulino Lain made a huge save. 62 minutes into the match, Tiago Azevedo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paulino Lain, 0-8.
