Real Sociedad's Igor Dillies got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Salvator kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Lucas Bastia was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Igor Dillies capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Igor Dillies really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With his leg Lucas Bastia managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Real Sociedad's Igor Dillies fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Sociedad's Igor Dillies slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucas Bastia. That made the score 3-0 after 42 minutes of play. In the 45th play minute Igor Dillies came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lucas Bastia. 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Justino Ferran made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Igor Dillies shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Bastia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Bastia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Dillies, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Red Bull Crystallis! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Dillies in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Bastia saved Red Bull Crystallis from getting behind. Red Bull Crystallis's Lucas Bastia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Dillies in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Real Sociedad's goalkeeper Ibrahim Hermand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erasmo Orlondo. After 77 played minutes Real Sociedad got a freekick which was hit by Justin Moissonnier. Real Sociedad's Ulysse Bazire was substituted for Edmond Antigny. Lucas Bastia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Dillies in the 82nd minute of play. Lucas Bastia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Dillies in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Dillies in the 91st minute of play forced Red Bull Crystallis's goalkeeper Lucas Bastia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Bastia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulysse Bazire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
