Vancouver Reds's Santana Armada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Marx in the 31st minute of play. When Michael Weniger came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the West Staines Massive fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Weniger couldn't finish the play. The wind increased when Patrick Galvão made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Michael Weniger dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Santana Armada, 2-2. Karl Marx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santana Armada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Bruno Gemar came out of the goal and Saverio Niva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Vancouver Reds getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Greger Sandström hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the game Marius Prestin came into a good position and shot a long shot on goal. In spite of Santana Armada trying to reach the ball it went through just inside the left pole. 3-4. The West Staines Massive supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing West Staines Massive would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
