The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conny Rudkvist during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vancouver Reds's Art Rhoades got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Markus Fågel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Recife in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Vancouver Reds's Wágner Recife fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The supporters of Vancouver Reds booed when Polly Magoo Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Vennerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute Vancouver Reds were awarded a corner. Apollinaire Gousse went to the cornerflag to take it. 15 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's Art Rhoades sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Markus Fågel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vancouver Reds were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Polly Magoo Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Apollinaire Gousse took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Apollinaire Gousse got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Markus Fågel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 19th minute of the match, Art Rhoades got a very nice opportunity to score, but Markus Fågel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Markus Fågel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wágner Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Polly Magoo Juniors's goalkeeper Markus Fågel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Art Rhoades. A collision led to Polly Magoo Juniors getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ralf Fransson hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Plante during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Claudio Plante kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Santana Armada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Otsoa in the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 minutes Vancouver Reds's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Conny Rudkvist who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Conny Rudkvist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Santana Armada quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 35 minutes, Art Rhoades managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vancouver Reds's supporters crossed their fingers, but Art Rhoades was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Apollinaire Gousse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Markus Fågel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conny Rudkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, Polly Magoo Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 庄文邦 to maneuver through the defense. Vancouver Reds's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Apollinaire Gousse in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralf Fransson was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Art Rhoades shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Fågel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 played minutes Polly Magoo Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Sten Vennerberg. Markus Fågel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Art Rhoades's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. The audience was convinced that Wágner Recife's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Markus Fågel was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Vancouver Reds's Cesaire Couture got a free kick in the 70th minute. Markus Fågel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Art Rhoades in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Vancouver Reds booed when Polly Magoo Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roy Johnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 minutes of play, Vancouver Reds's Art Rhoades made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Markus Fågel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Art Rhoades recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Roy Johnsson in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vancouver Reds's Jakub Kiwior. In the 89thth minute of the game Mauro Otsoa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vancouver Reds's Santana Armada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conny Rudkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute of the match Nicolas Baggett sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Markus Fågel skillfully saved the ball. Vancouver Reds were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Polly Magoo Juniors for a fine match.
