Nery Pumpido was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Louis Alebio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Louis Alebio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 34 minutes into the game, Fabio Huezo threw the ball into play from the sideline. AJ Juventus FC's Vladimir Tepes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Claudio Cerritos kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, AJ Juventus FC's Louis Alebio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nery Pumpido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Reno in the 64th minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nery Pumpido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AJ Juventus FC.
