In the 14th minute of the match Forever Tango got a corner. Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Josu Valls ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Narciso Chap heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The audience was convinced that Elias Manilan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Perfecto Mongis was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the game, Rogelio Torres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Forever Tango the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's Rogelio Torres got a free kick in the 17th minute. Josu Valls struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Perfecto Mongis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forever Tango. Froilan Leoncio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Juan Giraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perfecto Mongis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Raúl Amuchástegui in the 26th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Manilan in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perfecto Mongis saved Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ from getting behind. Perfecto Mongis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Forever Tango were winning 0-2.

Perfecto Mongis made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Elias Manilan sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Chap got free with Perfecto Mongis in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Forever Tango were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Josu Valls took the corner. In the 59th match minute, Forever Tango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Oihan to maneuver through the defense. When Rogelio Torres was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. In the 62nd match minute, Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Torres to maneuver through the defense. The Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Perfecto Mongis should have stopped the shot. Forever Tango's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
