After 13 minutes, Cirilo Ritchie made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. SiTomanBoy´s's Silvano Mercurio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arrecifes's Güney Mengüalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernán Torrejón in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Arrecifes booed when SiTomanBoy´s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Egfelt didn't get a good kick on the ball.
