Roger Seco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Belo Alvarez in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, A.D. Alcorcón's Erlantz Bermejo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roger Seco. Roger Seco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Esteban Vadillos struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Roger Seco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.D. Alcorcón. The audience thought a goal was coming when Belo Alvarez got free with Roger Seco in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Kauã Teixeira fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grêmio's protests and gave Kauã Teixeira a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Grêmio's Kauã Teixeira got a free kick in the 10th minute. Roger Seco made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Belo Alvarez sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Belo Alvarez got free with Roger Seco in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the game, Belo Alvarez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Roger Seco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the match, Grêmio's goal looked a bit too open when Erlantz Bermejo came free, but Roger Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Erlantz Bermejo took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Roger Seco to make any attempt to save it. Erlantz Bermejo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger Seco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. A.D. Alcorcón's Belo Alvarez got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belo Alvarez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 6-0 in the 34th playminute. Roger Seco came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by A.D. Alcorcón's Erlantz Bermejo. But to his dismay, Erlantz Bermejo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 46th minute, one of Grêmio:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Grêmio. In the 47th minute there was a penalty for A.D. Alcorcón. Nereo Acosta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Roger Seco. 9-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Roger Seco came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by A.D. Alcorcón's Erlantz Bermejo. But to his dismay, Erlantz Bermejo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. A.D. Alcorcón's Belo Alvarez got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A.D. Alcorcón's Laurin Mangas was substituted for Nereo Acosta. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Eusebio Quijana replaced Natxo Cacheres. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Belo Alvarez in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger Seco saved Grêmio from getting behind. After 61 minutes of play, A.D. Alcorcón's Erlantz Bermejo made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger Seco was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Grêmio defense, Erlantz Bermejo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roger Seco. The Grêmio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roger Seco should have stopped the shot. Erlantz Bermejo scored 13-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Seco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Belo Alvarez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roger Seco. Grêmio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Belo Alvarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-0. After 77th play minutes Belo Alvarez shot 15-0, a short shot which went by Roger Seco and just under the crossbar into goal. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Leroy Antunez replaced Belo Alvarez. Roger Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erlantz Bermejo in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erlantz Bermejo in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Seco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roger Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erlantz Bermejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Roger Seco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leroy Antunez went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 16-0 was the resulting score. 90 minutes into the match, Grêmio's goal looked a bit too open when Erlantz Bermejo came free, but Roger Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erlantz Bermejo took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roger Seco. Roger Seco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 17-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. A.D. Alcorcón had played much better football throughout.
