The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Orland Villadiego took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Faron Aleso to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Jacindo Trabado got a free kick in the 9th minute. Viviano Ulloa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 12th match minute, Deportivo ScrugenFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gasteiz Obies to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cresenciano Trilla got free with Faron Aleso in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Orland Villadiego ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Faron Aleso. Faron Aleso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Garfield Dream Team's Faron Aleso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Garfield Dream Team from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Deportivo ScrugenFC booed when Garfield Dream Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viviano Ulloa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Garfield Dream Team defense, Ostots Balaguer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faron Aleso. The Garfield Dream Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faron Aleso should have stopped the shot. Faron Aleso came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo ScrugenFC's Orland Villadiego. But to his dismay, Orland Villadiego quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After having played for 30 minutes, Jacindo Trabado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo ScrugenFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacindo Trabado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Cresenciano Trilla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Faron Aleso, 5-0. 34 minutes into the game, Orland Villadiego cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Faron Aleso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Faron Aleso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cresenciano Trilla in the 38th minute. In the 39th match minute, Deportivo ScrugenFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gasteiz Obies to maneuver through the defense. Faron Aleso made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Orland Villadiego sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute of the match Fresco Aizaran sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faron Aleso skillfully saved the ball. Orland Villadiego could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Faron Aleso made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Garfield Dream Team's Faron Aleso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orland Villadiego in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Favila Lesaca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faron Aleso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cresenciano Trilla in the 55th minute of play. Caradaro Arismendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Faron Aleso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Garfield Dream Team defense, Cresenciano Trilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faron Aleso. The Garfield Dream Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faron Aleso should have stopped the shot. Cresenciano Trilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faron Aleso having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cresenciano Trilla in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faron Aleso saved Garfield Dream Team from getting behind. Caradaro Arismendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Rainerio Uria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo ScrugenFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rainerio Uria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faron Aleso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Faron Aleso didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Deportivo ScrugenFC's Orland Villadiego shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 8-0 in the ordered_time% minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacindo Trabado during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Faron Aleso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cresenciano Trilla in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Deportivo ScrugenFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
