But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Dillies couldn't finish the play. Bomseral FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Edmond Antigny scored to the left of an out of position Sotil Saavedra, making the score, 1-0. If Igor Dillies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sotil Saavedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Dillies, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bomseral FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Tallia Bezares hit a great ball. Greg Blondeau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inautzi Garonaga in the 24th minute of play. Bomseral FC's Sotil Saavedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Dillies in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Dillies in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sotil Saavedra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the match, Bomseral FC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Dillies came free, but Sotil Saavedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Sotil Saavedra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Dillies went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 55th minute, Igor Dillies got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute, Igor Dillies left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Sociedad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Sotil Saavedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Dillies in the 72nd minute of play. If Edmond Antigny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inautzi Garonaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sotil Saavedra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Dillies went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Sotil Saavedra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmond Antigny in the 89th minute of the match. Real Sociedad's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
