Shah Henderson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tim Reinders hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Sajeev Chong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Shah Henderson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arno Verheije in the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, Rondo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Reinders to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Oakham getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Felix Leng hit a great ball. Shah Henderson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Coos Mol, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Shah Henderson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henk Oevermans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Afiz Tan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurice Verweijen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arno Verheije hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Maurice Verweijen made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Asiz Chandran sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Oakham:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rondo:s goal. 41 minutes into the match, Oakham's goal looked a bit too open when Henk Oevermans came free, but Shah Henderson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sarb Lum took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurice Verweijen. Maurice Verweijen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Coos Mol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Rondo defense, Asiz Chandran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurice Verweijen. The Rondo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurice Verweijen should have stopped the shot. With his leg Shah Henderson managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Rondo's Coos Mol fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 64th minute, Asiz Chandran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oakham fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Asiz Chandran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurice Verweijen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Afiz Tan notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Rondo's Maurice Verweijen. Maurice Verweijen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
