The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Batista in the 9th minute of play forced RÚSTICOS F.C's goalkeeper Omar Cristofol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, RÚSTICOS F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Batista came free, but Omar Cristofol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute Rodrigo Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Resul Tolay managed to get in a good position for a shot. RÚSTICOS F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Resul Tolay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Marcos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zé Roberto de Amorim's late challenge caught a RÚSTICOS F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Roberto de Amorim helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, Football Verde-Amarelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Roberto de Amorim to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Football Verde-Amarelo got a freekick which was hit by Joel Napier. Football Verde-Amarelo's Santo Marcos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Jerardo in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, RÚSTICOS F.C's Anselmo Jerardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santo Marcos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Andrézinho Arce hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Resul Tolay scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santo Marcos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Vito Batista dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Omar Cristofol, 1-2. Bo Ros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Omar Cristofol having to make a save. Anselmo Jerardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Santo Marcos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reinaldo Custódio hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Resul Tolay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 minutes of play, Football Verde-Amarelo's Rodrigo Batista made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Omar Cristofol was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Resul Tolay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Santo Marcos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Resul Tolay in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Batista in the 53rd minute of play forced RÚSTICOS F.C's goalkeeper Omar Cristofol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55thth minute of the game Vito Batista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RÚSTICOS F.C's Omar Cristofol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, RÚSTICOS F.C's Melchor Eztebe got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62nd match minute, RÚSTICOS F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Aureo to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Vito Batista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omar Cristofol was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Bo Ros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anselmo Jerardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santo Marcos having to make a save. With a little luck, Football Verde-Amarelo's Santo Marcos got control of the ball when Resul Tolay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amadeu Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Cristofol having to interfere. Paolo Cordairo hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 88 minutes of play, Football Verde-Amarelo's Amadeu Vergílio made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Omar Cristofol was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of RÚSTICOS F.C booed when Football Verde-Amarelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Football Verde-Amarelo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
