The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chico Secco was the one to do the kick off. When Waldir Urbano came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Tasso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Waldir Urbano couldn't finish the play. Silverio Corderun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute of the match Gustavo Gómez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silverio Corderun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The throw-in from Jonathan Trevisan in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tasso FC's Severi Nybacka. When Football Verde-Amarelo's Fernando Rosado in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tasso FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 67th minute, Football Verde-Amarelo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Waldir Urbano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Santos Dumont sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Normando Fiúza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernando Prasz. Football Verde-Amarelo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Normando Fiúza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Fernando Prasz was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Santos Dumont capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Santos Dumont really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Dumont in the 91st minute of play forced Football Verde-Amarelo's goalkeeper Fernando Prasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Prasz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Dumont in the 92nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Normando Fiúza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernando Prasz. That made the score 0-3 in the 94 minute of play. The Tasso FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tasso FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
