Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Romain Mesmakers took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gerald Newson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludwig Kloots in the 12th minute of play. Café DE PLOEG's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bert Windelinckx in the 14th minute. The corner led Café DE PLOEG's Bert Windelinckx to fire away a dangerous shot which Gerald Newson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 17th minute, Romain Mesmakers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerald Newson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Brian Verhaghen might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerald Newson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brian Verhaghen ran back to his position shaking his head. Gerald Newson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Verhaghen, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ovidio Benavides hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Brian Verhaghen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerald Newson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Kloots in the 36th minute of play forced Susan B. Anthony Braves's goalkeeper Gerald Newson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romain Mesmakers in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerald Newson saved Susan B. Anthony Braves from getting behind. In the 45th minute, Bert Windelinckx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ludwig Kloots took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerald Newson. Gerald Newson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for William Trimm to strike the kick off in the second half. Sajjad Karim hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Eriberto de Castro in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Susan B. Anthony Braves's Stafford Coombes. 59 minutes into the game, Brian Verhaghen lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Gerald Newson. After a defensive mix-up in Susan B. Anthony Braves's zone, Romain Mesmakers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerald Newson came out of the goal and Romain Mesmakers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerald Newson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 68 in the game by Romain Mesmakers from a close distance when the talented Gerald Newson managed to make a qualified save. Susan B. Anthony Braves's players were relieved. In the 74thth minute of the game Eriberto de Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Susan B. Anthony Braves's Gerald Newson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Café DE PLOEG's Eriberto de Castro in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Susan B. Anthony Braves's goalie prevented a goal. 80 minutes into the game, Café DE PLOEG's Eriberto de Castro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerald Newson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Gerald Newson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Teuma Castelletti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Café DE PLOEG fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Café DE PLOEG's Eriberto de Castro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Susan B. Anthony Braves defense, Charles Teuma Castelletti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerald Newson. The Susan B. Anthony Braves fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerald Newson should have stopped the shot. 97 minutes into the match Charles Teuma Castelletti climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-10 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Gerald Newson. Café DE PLOEG played a much better game than Susan B. Anthony Braves and deserved their victory. The Susan B. Anthony Braves players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
