Marie Curie Atomic's Adolf Alfonso managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lambis Vrinios in the 3 minute of the game. Drafi's Spyros Chatzakos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Drafi from getting a goal against them. John Coffey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Spyros Chatzakos having to interfere. In the 13th minute Soulis Felegakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Gardner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, John Coffey took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Spyros Chatzakos to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Drafi's Spyros Chatzakos got control of the ball when Liam Brown tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lionel-Andrés Messi hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. A hard shot 27 in the game by Liam Brown from a close distance when the talented Spyros Chatzakos managed to make a qualified save. Drafi's players were relieved. Adolf Alfonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Marie Curie Atomic's goal looked a bit too open when Soulis Felegakis came free, but Daniel Gardner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liam Brown got free with Spyros Chatzakos in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Spyros Chatzakos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lokesh Chopra's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Marie Curie Atomic's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Liam Brown in the 42nd minute. After taking down the ball on Marie Curie Atomic's corner Liam Brown fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Spyros Chatzakos quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liam Brown got free with Spyros Chatzakos in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Drafi's Kleon Sgouros was substituted for Lambis Vrinios. The wind increased when Liam Brown made the kick off in the second half. Spyros Chatzakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liam Brown, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marie Curie Atomic's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Liam Brown in the 56th minute. Liam Brown made a great header on Marie Curie Atomic's corner, it was just that Drafi's Spyros Chatzakos managed to reach the ball for a save. Drafi's Spyros Chatzakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liam Brown in the 58th minute of play. Spyros Chatzakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liam Brown in the 59th minute of play. Adolf Alfonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Drafi made a substitution. Jiang Bang Fan replaced Soulis Felegakis. Kleon Sgouros made in the 70th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Marie Curie Atomic's Robert Brown. Patricio Jesus in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Daniel Gardner, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Drafi's Boleslaw Kojder got a free kick in the 80th minute. After 81 minutes of play, Marie Curie Atomic's Christopher Glynn made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Spyros Chatzakos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Spyros Chatzakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Glynn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spyros Chatzakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Brown in the 89th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Brown in the 90th managed to get into a good position. Daniel Gardner came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Drafi's Lionel-Andrés Messi. But to his dismay, Lionel-Andrés Messi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Marie Curie Atomic walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
