Nicholas Perrin kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Ferruccio Giovannelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohammad Hasan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mohammad Hasan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Giovannelli in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Foligno's goalkeeper Angelo Sasso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Alex Caiola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Ferruccio Giovannelli fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 23rdth minute of the game Rory McCarthy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Foligno's Angelo Sasso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Maya Angelou Birds getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Nicholas Perrin hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Ferruccio Giovannelli made a precise shot to the right of Mohammad Hasan. Maya Angelou Birds's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 30 minutes into the match, Rory McCarthy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelo Sasso. Foligno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rory McCarthy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 35th minute Rory McCarthy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Sasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Sasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rory McCarthy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th match minute, Maya Angelou Birds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arron Conlon to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rory McCarthy made a kick off. Nicholas Perrin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, John Carter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maya Angelou Birds's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Foligno the free kick. A collision led to Maya Angelou Birds getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. John Carter hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Maya Angelou Birds's goal looked a bit too open when Kamber Coşkun came free, but Mohammad Hasan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Foligno's Angelo Sasso got control of the ball when Arron Conlon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arron Conlon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Angelo Sasso came out and tried to block the shot, but Arron Conlon slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 60th minute. Nicholas Perrin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Angelo Sasso made a huge save. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maya Angelou Birds's goalkeeper Mohammad Hasan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Angelo Sasso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 81 played minutes Foligno got a freekick which was hit by Ferruccio Giovannelli. Foligno's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rory McCarthy 82 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. In the 87th minute Nicholas Perrin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Sasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Sasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rory McCarthy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute of the match Maya Angelou Birds got a corner. Foligno's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arron Conlon ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Maya Angelou Birds's Arron Conlon to fire away a dangerous shot which Angelo Sasso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arron Conlon got free with Angelo Sasso in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maya Angelou Birds's Rory McCarthy got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Maya Angelou Birds supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Maya Angelou Birds would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
