Denimir Tzonkov might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Permanand Fry. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denimir Tzonkov ran back to his position shaking his head. Permanand Fry made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Denimir Tzonkov sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Denimir Tzonkov got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Hristofor Borchev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominic Ramjohn went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Denimir Tzonkov struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Permanand Fry didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bulgaria. In the 18th minute, Denimir Tzonkov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Permanand Fry. The goal made the score 1-1. Trinidad & Tobago's Permanand Fry proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Trinidad & Tobago from getting a goal against them. Permanand Fry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naycho Dotzov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Permanand Fry didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. Denimir Tzonkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Permanand Fry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denimir Tzonkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Denimir Tzonkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Denimir Tzonkov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Permanand Fry made a huge save. Velyo Denchev kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The wind increased when Dominic Ramjohn made the kick off in the second half. Denimir Tzonkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 51 minutes into the match, Trinidad & Tobago's goal looked a bit too open when Denimir Tzonkov came free, but Permanand Fry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bulgaria's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ignat Nozharov in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Trinidad & Tobago's zone, Denimir Tzonkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Permanand Fry came out of the goal and Denimir Tzonkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denimir Tzonkov in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Permanand Fry prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Denimir Tzonkov took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Permanand Fry. Permanand Fry dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Permanand Fry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denimir Tzonkov in the 67th minute of play. Denimir Tzonkov might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Permanand Fry. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denimir Tzonkov ran back to his position shaking his head. The Bulgaria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Bulgaria's Marko Ruskov was substituted for Denimir Tzonkov. Bulgaria's Velichko Dúrov was substituted for Lachezar Kavaldzhiev. Marko Ruskov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Permanand Fry having to interfere. In the 87th minute Lauderic John Bailey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hristofor Borchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Lauderic John Bailey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-2. Hristofor Borchev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 89 minutes into the match, Marko Ruskov notched a goal, 8-2, to the right of Trinidad & Tobago's Permanand Fry. Permanand Fry was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Naycho Dotzov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bulgaria walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
