Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wolf De Hond got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Apricis Bruxella's goalkeeper Laurence Van Den Abeele, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Guido Vissenaeken notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Apricis Bruxella's Laurence Van Den Abeele. Laurence Van Den Abeele was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Laurence Van Den Abeele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Vissenaeken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vítor Baia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wolf De Hond, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Wolf De Hond dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vítor Baia, 1-1. In the 18th minute Wolf De Hond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Baia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Arnauld Van Impe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laurence Van Den Abeele was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Laurence Van Den Abeele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnauld Van Impe, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 25th minute Arnauld Van Impe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurence Van Den Abeele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Arnauld Van Impe notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Apricis Bruxella's Laurence Van Den Abeele. Laurence Van Den Abeele was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Laurence Van Den Abeele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurențiu Roşculeţ in the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Wolf De Hond came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurence Van Den Abeele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Vissenaeken in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Brugge United were awarded a corner. Jaspar Van Den Broeck went to the cornerflag to take it. 44 minutes into the match, Wolf De Hond had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vítor Baia. Brugge United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wolf De Hond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guido Vissenaeken made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Brugge United's zone, Laurens Vercammen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Baia came out of the goal and Laurens Vercammen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The attack was good, but when Wolf De Hond in the 58th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnauld Van Impe in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laurence Van Den Abeele saved Apricis Bruxella from getting behind. In the 61st minute, Zé Rafael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brugge United's Jaspar Van Den Broeck shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 62nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Laurence Van Den Abeele but with some difficulty. Guido Vissenaeken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurence Van Den Abeele having to interfere. With a little luck, Apricis Bruxella's Laurence Van Den Abeele got control of the ball when Jaspar Van Den Broeck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Apricis Bruxella made a substitution. Dinu Moți replaced Johny Konings. Apricis Bruxella's Gencer Korkutalp was substituted for Romeu Moreira. In the 83rd minute Brugge United were awarded a corner. Jaspar Van Den Broeck went to the cornerflag to take it. Vítor Baia came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Apricis Bruxella's Wolf De Hond. But to his dismay, Wolf De Hond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. After 89 minutes of play, Brugge United's Laurențiu Roşculeţ made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laurence Van Den Abeele was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Brugge United players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Apricis Bruxella from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
