An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Kjellman in the 12th minute of play forced Apricis Bruxella's goalkeeper Laurence Van Den Abeele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurence Van Den Abeele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martijn August, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 20 minutes into the match, FC Bal op het Dak's goal looked a bit too open when Wolf De Hond came free, but Maurício Bomba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wolf De Hond took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurício Bomba. Maurício Bomba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of Apricis Bruxella booed when FC Bal op het Dak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martijn August didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Armand Steenberghs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the FC Bal op het Dak defense, Wolf De Hond kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurício Bomba. The FC Bal op het Dak fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurício Bomba should have stopped the shot. Dan Kjellman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC Bal op het Dak getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Joop Meder hit a great ball. Laurence Van Den Abeele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Kjellman in the 43rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Kjellman in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laurence Van Den Abeele saved Apricis Bruxella from getting behind. 44 minutes into the match, FC Bal op het Dak's goal looked a bit too open when Wolf De Hond came free, but Maurício Bomba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

FC Bal op het Dak made a substitution. Marick Brunt replaced Aristides Gombal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martijn August to make the kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of FC Bal op het Dak:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Apricis Bruxella:s goal. The referee gave Apricis Bruxella a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. FC Bal op het Dak's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Laurens Vercammen ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Apricis Bruxella's corner Diedrik Jamieson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maurício Bomba quite easily take care of the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Apricis Bruxella's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Mendes came free, but Laurence Van Den Abeele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurence Van Den Abeele made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Kjellman in the 74th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Laurence Van Den Abeele successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 78 minutes into the match, Apricis Bruxella's goalkeeper Laurence Van Den Abeele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dan Kjellman. Apricis Bruxella's Gencer Korkutalp was substituted for Romeu Moreira. Apricis Bruxella's Steven Gierman was substituted for Güney Özboga. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Apricis Bruxella's goalkeeper Laurence Van Den Abeele, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cobus Harding made in the 91st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by John-Paul Locatelli. If Marick Brunt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Apricis Bruxella support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
