Everyone was convinced a goal was close when U21 Vietnam's Nguyễn Khoi in the 32nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Simão Alagoano was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Kill For You through an amazing save. Nguyễn Quang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute, Jardel Dracena made a precise shot to the right of Nguyễn Quang. U21 Vietnam's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Nguyễn Quang was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nguyễn Quang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Dantas in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Lê Bay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 Vietnam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kill For You the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baskın Hanbeyi got free with Nguyễn Quang in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, U21 Vietnam's Nguyễn Quang got control of the ball when Baskın Hanbeyi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Coşkun Hızır hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, U21 Vietnam's goalkeeper Nguyễn Quang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baskın Hanbeyi. In the 76th minute of the match, Jardel Dracena got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nguyễn Quang was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jardel Dracena who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Nguyễn Quang when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Kill For You booed when U21 Vietnam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 94 played minutes U21 Vietnam got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Teo. After some careless play in the U21 Vietnam defense, Jardel Dracena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nguyễn Quang. The U21 Vietnam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nguyễn Quang should have stopped the shot.
