Grigore Chivu came out of the goal and Geoffrey Rowe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute Geoffrey Rowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigore Chivu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferenc Puskás got free with James Sayers in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the game, Geoffrey Rowe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Grigore Chivu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dé 魏延 got free with James Sayers in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 40 minutes into the match, Helen Keller Vision's goal looked a bit too open when Dé 魏延 came free, but James Sayers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Chaffey scored 2-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grigore Chivu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Grigore Chivu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geoffrey Rowe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A throw-in in the 68th minute of the game was made by Cătălin Pora with Ferenc Puskás as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horaţiu Cînu in the 75th minute of play forced Helen Keller Vision's goalkeeper James Sayers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RomanianPower's Cristian Baniu got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute Cristian Baniu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Sayers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. James Sayers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Cînu in the 92nd minute of the match. Despite being the better team, RomanianPower failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
