Braga Junior FC's Brickeen Wall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Braga Junior FC from getting a goal against them. In the 7th minute Adam Lischka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brickeen Wall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dinei Sergipano came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Braga Junior FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinei Sergipano couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Mutu in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mark Flecken saved SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. from getting behind. In the 11th minute Adrian Mutu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Flecken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brickeen Wall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Schmedes in the 12th minute of play. Dinei Sergipano struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Mark Flecken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Braga Junior FC. 22 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Mutu came free, but Mark Flecken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braga Junior FC's Brickeen Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolland Sallai in the 23rd minute of play. Adrian Mutu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mark Flecken having to make a save. With a little luck, Braga Junior FC's Brickeen Wall got control of the ball when Enrico Schmedes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dinei Sergipano scored 0-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mark Flecken, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brickeen Wall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Lischka in the 34th minute of play. The SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Enrico Schmedes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Enginalp Kayaalp hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. A nice corner shot did that Cristiano Håland got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mark Flecken quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Mutu to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Braga Junior FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rolland Sallai came free, but Brickeen Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 played minutes SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. got a freekick which was hit by Merlin Röhl. Brickeen Wall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terry Kunzmann in the 68th minute of the match. Brickeen Wall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Lischka, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Brickeen Wall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Lischka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinei Sergipano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mark Flecken read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
