The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serginho Chulapa was the one to do the kick off. The de Beauvoir Scholars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Leese should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute Serginho Chulapa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Leese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zackary Sampson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew Murdock in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute de Beauvoir Scholars were awarded a corner. Andrew Murdock went to the cornerflag to take it. de Beauvoir Scholars's Derrick Mullings was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zackary Sampson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. de Beauvoir Scholars's Paul Leese played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryon Betts in the 85th minute of play. After 87 played minutes Evangel FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Valbas. In the 92nd minute, Bryon Betts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Evangel FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Evangel FC were victorious despite being under pressure from de Beauvoir Scholars for much of the match.
