After 11 played minutes BK Tåfjutt got a freekick which was hit by Arvin Lundblad. 13 minutes into the game, Giel Oosterman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mijdrecht Maffia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BK Tåfjutt the free kick. In the 15thth minute of the game Kurt Pilblad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mijdrecht Maffia's Rob Poelman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Roger Rekers recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stefan Lundin. Roger Rekers showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Gerard Oost managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mijdrecht Maffia's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerard Oost was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Lundin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 29 minutes, Roger Rekers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mijdrecht Maffia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Rekers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, BK Tåfjutt's goalkeeper Stefan Lundin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roger Rekers. Rob Poelman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Svensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. With a little luck, BK Tåfjutt's Stefan Lundin got control of the ball when Roger Rekers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerard Oost's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stefan Lundin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roger Rekers was the one to do the kick off. Stefan Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Rekers in the 53rd minute of play. Arvin Lundblad received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rob Poelman came out and tried to block the shot, but Arvin Lundblad slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 54th minute. Mijdrecht Maffia's Rob Poelman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Mijdrecht Maffia from getting a goal against them. After 59 played minutes BK Tåfjutt got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Svensson. Stefan Lundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Rekers in the 61st minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, BK Tåfjutt's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Rekers came free, but Stefan Lundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mijdrecht Maffia getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Marcel Blanc hit a great ball. Rob Poelman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvin Lundblad, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute of the match BK Tåfjutt got a corner. Mijdrecht Maffia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Björn Haeger ran over to the corner to take the kick. Torsten Svensson was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Marcel Blanc might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stefan Lundin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcel Blanc ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th minute Roger Rekers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Lundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rob Poelman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torsten Svensson in the 89th minute. The supporters of BK Tåfjutt booed when Mijdrecht Maffia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serge Ewald didn't get a good kick on the ball.
