Ciro Nerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kraig Fred, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Bancruz F.C's Carlos Arixo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kert Roolaid in the 27 minute of the game. In the 37th minute, Turgay Hafi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Ranolfo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Kraig Fred came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Estudiantes de América fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kraig Fred couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Kraig Fred made the kick off in the second half. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
