An unexpectedly hard shot by David Houston in the 12th minute of play forced The Team FC's goalkeeper Alex Beckman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Beckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Melling in the 13th minute of play. David Wooster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otis Short in the 15th minute of play. After 20 played minutes The Team FC got a freekick which was hit by Grant Foote. The audience was convinced that David Houston's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Beckman was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. If Grant Foote had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute David Houston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Beckman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute Cao Shi Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Wooster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, F. Nightingale Saviors's Bhavin Pandya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Beckman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alex Beckman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Houston, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. David Houston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Beckman having to interfere. The Team FC's Gerald Bradshaw was substituted for Esteban Lord. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Bhavin Pandya made the kick off in the second half. Alex Beckman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Melling showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 55 minute of play. When Shelton Flanagan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 59 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The David Wooster was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 62nd minute of the match, David Houston tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alex Beckman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 69 minutes in the game, Grant Foote dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The Team FC's Foster Brennan was substituted for Otis Short. F. Nightingale Saviors booed when The Team FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guy Baxter didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute Shelton Flanagan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Wooster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Foster Brennan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
