The audience thought a goal was coming when Avo Kilk got free with Eliseo Cefero in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11thth minute of the game Dráuzio Pontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Topsail's Bill Carmichael was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 11 minutes, Dráuzio Pontes made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Topsail's Bill Carmichael tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Topsail's goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio Pontes came free, but Bill Carmichael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dráuzio Pontes might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bill Carmichael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dráuzio Pontes ran back to his position shaking his head. Topsail's Bill Carmichael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráuzio Pontes in the 20th minute of play. When Falconara Albanese's Dráuzio Pontes in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Topsail's goalie prevented a goal. Eliseo Cefero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donzel Goyeneta went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Topsail's Bill Carmichael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráuzio Pontes in the 30th minute of play. Wawrzyniec Knopek hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Eliseo Cefero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Negro, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Dráuzio Pontes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bill Carmichael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match, Donzel Goyeneta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eliseo Cefero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Eliseo Cefero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donzel Goyeneta, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Borna Šalov made in the 41st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fabrizio Petrucci however managed to control. 47 minutes into the match, Falconara Albanese's goalkeeper Eliseo Cefero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donzel Goyeneta. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Topsail made a substitution. Amador Weather replaced Donzel Goyeneta. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Negro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dráuzio Pontes hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Falconara Albanese's Bill Carmichael threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Martin Goren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Topsail's Bill Carmichael got control of the ball when Kaarlo Menem tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bill Carmichael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaarlo Menem in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute of the match, Martin Goren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bill Carmichael saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Amador Weather received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Eliseo Cefero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bill Carmichael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaarlo Menem in the 83rd minute. In the 91st minute Fernando Negro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Cefero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Topsail's Mehmet Fatih Tokkan got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Bill Carmichael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Goren in the 97th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Falconara Albanese eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
