An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Kowalesko in the 25th minute of play forced CRUZ DEL SUR's goalkeeper Amato Heyboer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marc Pedraza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amato Heyboer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvestre Ruedi in the 38th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romeo Loyola during the 39th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CRUZ DEL SUR walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
