Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 郝强适 made the kick off and thus started the match. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, 郝强适 took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for John Martin to make any attempt to save it. Bachittar Singh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 俞冰帆 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 俞冰帆 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bachittar Singh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bachittar Singh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute 郝强适 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Martin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Jane Austen Pride's goal looked a bit too open when 郝强适 came free, but John Martin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rob Parsons made in the 27th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Darryl Anderson however managed to control. 王弘宇 charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 王弘宇 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 王弘宇 kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. It was a well-played corner which Darryl Anderson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After some careless play in the Jane Austen Pride defense, 郝强适 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of John Martin. The Jane Austen Pride fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that John Martin should have stopped the shot. 郝强适 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 41 minutes into the match, Jane Austen Pride's goal looked a bit too open when 郝强适 came free, but John Martin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 俞冰帆 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garry Power in the 42nd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bachittar Singh made a kick off. After 50 played minutes 香草的家 got a freekick which was hit by 倪鹰义. John Gravell made in the 55th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Darryl Anderson. In the 57th minute, Jane Austen Pride's Bachittar Singh dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Jane Austen Pride's John Martin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Ticho in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Jane Austen Pride's Bachittar Singh dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. 俞冰帆 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bachittar Singh in the 68th minute of play. John Martin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 郝强适, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 俞冰帆 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garry Power, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 郝强适 in the 83rd minute of play forced Jane Austen Pride's goalkeeper John Martin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John Martin came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by 香草的家's 郝强适. But to his dismay, 郝强适 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Jane Austen Pride's Leonard Wood was substituted for Darryl Anderson. Jane Austen Pride made a substitution. Espen Lima replaced Garry Power. When 郝强适 came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the 香草的家 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 郝强适 couldn't finish the play. John Martin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 郝强适, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Bamforth in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 俞冰帆 saved 香草的家 from getting behind. 香草的家's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
