Paul Leese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayındır Mehmet Şahdar, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the match, ☆TC☆ xapyh ☆TC☆'s goal looked a bit too open when David Ward came free, but Mahsun İltekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when D.J. 李冰冰 got free with Paul Leese in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paul Leese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bayındır Mehmet Şahdar in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Silvio Rio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Paul Leese was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erkut Bayülgen hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrew Murdock to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in de Beauvoir Scholars's zone, Seyfullah Akpınar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bayındır Mehmet Şahdar in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paul Leese prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute, Andrew Murdock made a precise shot to the right of Mahsun İltekin. ☆TC☆ xapyh ☆TC☆'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Bayındır Mehmet Şahdar struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Paul Leese didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ☆TC☆ xapyh ☆TC☆.
