Aurel Teodoroiu started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Ionică Bădilescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Popcorn Miner. 4 minutes into the game, Popcorn Miner lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Ionică Bădilescu. In the 12th minute, Aurel Teodoroiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Best Miner was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Iacobescu in the 16th minute of play forced CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's goalkeeper Best Miner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Best Miner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristi Ciprian in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Ionică Bădilescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Popcorn Miner. After a rather tough play, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Filip Braia got a free kick in the 21st minute. Aurel Teodoroiu's late challenge caught a CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurel Teodoroiu helped the player get up and apologised. Ionică Bădilescu made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Beat Miner sent off a good shot on target. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Ionică Bădilescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save FC PIETROSUL -MM- from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the match, CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Teodoroiu came free, but Best Miner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Best Miner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Iacobescu in the 35th minute of play. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Best Miner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Teodoroiu in the 43rd minute of play. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Cristi Ciprian got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Iacobescu in the 47th minute of play forced CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's goalkeeper Best Miner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Călin Vasilică was substituted for Filip Braia. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Emil Ştoia was substituted for Aurelian Odobescu. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Popcorn Miner to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to FC PIETROSUL -MM- getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ciprian Halipa hit a great ball. After 60 played minutes FC PIETROSUL -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Viorel Iacobescu. Ionică Bădilescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beat Miner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Beat Miner came free, but Ionică Bădilescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ionică Bădilescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beat Miner in the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Viorel Iacobescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Best Miner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM made a substitution. Dodorol Miner replaced Daddy Miner. Best Miner made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Aurel Teodoroiu sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute of the match, Ciprian Halipa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Best Miner saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Popcorn Miner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ionică Bădilescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Teodoroiu came free, but Best Miner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Best Miner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viorel Iacobescu in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Popcorn Miner made a precise shot to the right of Ionică Bădilescu. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Best Miner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viorel Iacobescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Aurel Teodoroiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Best Miner. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurel Teodoroiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. When Popcorn Miner came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Popcorn Miner couldn't finish the play. Best Miner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Halipa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FC PIETROSUL -MM- supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC PIETROSUL -MM- would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
