Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Korcan Askeroğlu started the match with the kick off. Nicholas Perrin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvino Miro having to interfere. Mohammad Hasan was a little too slow when Derya Gökekin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. Salvino Miro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rory McCarthy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rory McCarthy hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Salvino Miro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arron Conlon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maya Angelou Birds's Mohammad Hasan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuh Dilhan in the 23rd minute of play. Nuh Dilhan kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Rory McCarthy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Salvino Miro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Nicholas Perrin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salvino Miro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 42 minutes into the match, Maya Angelou Birds's goal looked a bit too open when Derya Gökekin came free, but Mohammad Hasan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 43 minutes on the clock, Michael Reed commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Maya Angelou Birds! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rory McCarthy to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Maya Angelou Birds got a freekick which was hit by Nicholas Perrin. In the 53rd minute of the match Hitzeder Gauna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mohammad Hasan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 55th minute, Rory McCarthy fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Salvino Miro, passed just outside the right post. Salvino Miro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rory McCarthy in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Rory McCarthy fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 69 minutes into the match, Maya Angelou Birds's Nicholas Perrin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Salvino Miro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicholas Perrin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Salvino Miro. That made the score 2-3 in the 69 minute of play. Rory McCarthy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvino Miro having to interfere. Nuh Dilhan's late challenge caught a Maya Angelou Birds's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nuh Dilhan helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes BATIK got a freekick which was hit by Nuh Dilhan. In the 80th minute Nuh Dilhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohammad Hasan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salvino Miro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rory McCarthy in the 83rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Derya Gökekin during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th match minute, BATIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derya Gökekin to maneuver through the defense. Mohammad Hasan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Korcan Askeroğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Maya Angelou Birds eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
