In the 2nd minute, Kim Henriksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thanasis Koltsidas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Pontus Sellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thalis Krommidas, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Thanasis Koltsidas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derick Murry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Kim Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanasis Koltsidas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christer Bolin in the 12th minute of play forced AEK S.C's goalkeeper Thanasis Koltsidas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pontus Sellberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thalis Krommidas in the 15th minute of play. Alfaro Meo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, AEK S.C's goalkeeper Thanasis Koltsidas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John Ahlfors. AEK S.C's attentive Rodrigo Hats managed to snatch the ball when Per-Olof Sjöström made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. Full Fart Framåt's Pontus Sellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thalis Krommidas in the 23rd minute of play. Thanasis Koltsidas came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Full Fart Framåt's Jean-Pierre Barda. But to his dismay, Jean-Pierre Barda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Thanasis Koltsidas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Henriksson in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Derick Murry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanasis Koltsidas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Stefan Lidberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Full Fart Framåt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AEK S.C the free kick. A collision led to Full Fart Framåt getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Stefan Lidberg hit a great ball. Thanasis Koltsidas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derick Murry, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donzel Goyeneta made a kick off. Full Fart Framåt's Pontus Sellberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Full Fart Framåt from getting a goal against them. Thanasis Koltsidas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Henriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 59 minutes, Jean-Pierre Barda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Full Fart Framåt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Pierre Barda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Full Fart Framåt's Jean-Pierre Barda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thanasis Koltsidas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Full Fart Framåt's Derek Cooke was substituted for Derick Murry. In the 70th minute, Donzel Goyeneta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pontus Sellberg. The goal made the score 3-1. 74 minutes into the match, Full Fart Framåt's goalkeeper Pontus Sellberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Carreira. Pontus Sellberg made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Vaggelis Mitsiou sent off a good shot on target. John Ahlfors kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. AEK S.C's Thomas Papatrechas was substituted for Alfaro Meo. John Ahlfors hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donzel Goyeneta in the 83rd minute of play forced Full Fart Framåt's goalkeeper Pontus Sellberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Winter's late challenge caught a Full Fart Framåt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Winter helped the player get up and apologised. Marcelo Winter kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Thomas Papatrechas kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Jean-Pierre Barda struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Thanasis Koltsidas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Full Fart Framåt. 95 minutes into the match, Benedicto Tadzio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thanasis Koltsidas. AEK S.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedicto Tadzio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. AEK S.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
