Juan Driscoll hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Bill Carmichael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belo Alvarez in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, A.D. Alcorcón's Xesc Jorquera got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, Topsail's Amador Weather got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Belo Alvarez in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bill Carmichael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute A.D. Alcorcón were awarded a corner. Nereo Acosta went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Apolinar Guijarro to score against Bill Carmichael in Topsail's goal. 1-1 after 31 minutes. 36 minutes into the match, Topsail's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Vadillos came free, but Bill Carmichael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bill Carmichael came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by A.D. Alcorcón's Belo Alvarez. But to his dismay, Belo Alvarez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Runar Myrland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurino Serena having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Runar Myrland was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to A.D. Alcorcón getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Arcadio Ramiréz hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Fodor came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Antal Fodor came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Topsail fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Fodor couldn't finish the play. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Eusebio Quijana replaced Natxo Cacheres. A.D. Alcorcón's Laurin Mangas was substituted for Nereo Acosta. 63 minutes into the match, Topsail's goal looked a bit too open when Erlantz Bermejo came free, but Bill Carmichael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Griffin in the 67th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Darby in the 74th minute of the match. After 80th play minutes Belo Alvarez shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Bill Carmichael and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Runar Myrland in the 84th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Griffin, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Arcadio Ramiréz kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Leroy Antunez could shoot a difficult shot in the 97th minute, which Bill Carmichael however easily saved by the left post.
