But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donzel Goyeneta couldn't finish the play. In the 7thth minute of the game Denimir Tzonkov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Topsail's Bill Carmichael was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Brent Goldsmith was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Topsail's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VN BAKITO the free kick. In the 8th minute, Brent Goldsmith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9thth minute of the game Denimir Tzonkov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Topsail's Bill Carmichael was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bill Carmichael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blagoy Banovski in the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Topsail's Fabrizio Petrucci got a free kick in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the game, VN BAKITO's Denimir Tzonkov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bill Carmichael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Roberts Lewandowski hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Bill Carmichael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Denimir Tzonkov went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Avo Kilk in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruslan Rúklyov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute Avo Kilk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruslan Rúklyov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Denimir Tzonkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When VN BAKITO's Denimir Tzonkov in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Topsail's goalie prevented a goal. If Fernando Negro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Topsail's Amador Weather was substituted for Donzel Goyeneta. The Topsail players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. VN BAKITO were winning 0-2.

Bill Carmichael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denimir Tzonkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bill Carmichael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaac Constancio in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute VN BAKITO were awarded a corner. Blagoy Banovski went to the cornerflag to take it. Gerasim Berberov made a great header on VN BAKITO's corner, it was just that Topsail's Bill Carmichael managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 61st minute of the match Topsail got a corner. VN BAKITO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mehmet Fatih Tokkan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Topsail's Mehmet Fatih Tokkan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ruslan Rúklyov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Topsail's zone, Gerasim Berberov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bill Carmichael came out of the goal and Gerasim Berberov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alberto Oddi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Denimir Tzonkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Carmichael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute Amador Weather shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruslan Rúklyov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruslan Rúklyov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Weather, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Oddi in the 77th minute of play forced VN BAKITO's goalkeeper Ruslan Rúklyov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Borna Šalov in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by VN BAKITO's Blagoy Banovski. In the 89th minute, Flavinho Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bill Carmichael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denimir Tzonkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. VN BAKITO walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
