Cido Meireles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nereo Pes went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Apolo Foro hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Cido Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Pes in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Clemente Blanco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cido Meireles was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Jairo Santana hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the game's 18th minute Padrón 1744's Clemente Blanco took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Cido Meireles and thus the score was 0-2. After having played for 31 minutes, Nereo Pes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Padrón 1744's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Pes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cido Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Blanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemente Blanco took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cido Meireles. Cido Meireles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Cido Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Pes in the 35th minute of the match. Carlo Buttice made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Jairo Santana sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Blanco in the 43rd minute of play forced Pirajiba's goalkeeper Cido Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nereo Pes's late challenge caught a Pirajiba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nereo Pes helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 played minutes Padrón 1744 got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Pes. The Pirajiba players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Padrón 1744 were winning 0-4.

If Nereo Pes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Blanco got free with Cido Meireles in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute, Padrón 1744's Clemente Blanco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. The throw-in from Christian Iigo in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pirajiba's Rodriguinho Alvarenga. In the 74th minute, Clemente Blanco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cido Meireles. The goal made the score 0-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nereo Pes in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cido Meireles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 79 minutes, Clemente Blanco made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Pirajiba's Cido Meireles tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cido Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Pes in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Jairo Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cido Meireles was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Matias Berasko. Nereo Pes scored 0-8 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cido Meireles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clemente Blanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Cido Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Padrón 1744's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
