The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jane Austen Pride's John Martin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Jane Austen Pride from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute, Ryszard Bronicki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Kyperountas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Atletico Kyperountas's goal looked a bit too open when Bachittar Singh came free, but Arsenio Lupin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Darryl Anderson in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Atletico Kyperountas's Kajetan Winograd. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Luiz Dantas got free with John Martin in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arsenio Lupin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bachittar Singh in the 22nd minute of the match. John Martin made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Kalkhas Haritopoulos sent off a good shot on target. Arsenio Lupin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veli Hussein in the 29th minute of play. Kajetan Winograd got a throw-in 32 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Pedro Luiz Dantas. Arsenio Lupin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bachittar Singh, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Garry Power notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Atletico Kyperountas's Arsenio Lupin. Arsenio Lupin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Jane Austen Pride's Nicholas Mendes got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute Ryszard Bronicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Martin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Bachittar Singh made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Kalkhas Haritopoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Kyperountas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Richard Hobbs kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Kalkhas Haritopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. John Martin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arsenio Lupin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bachittar Singh in the 72nd minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Jane Austen Pride's corner Garry Power fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arsenio Lupin quite easily take care of the ball. Jane Austen Pride's John Martin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermín Huerta in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Kyperountas's goalkeeper Arsenio Lupin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Pedro Luiz Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jane Austen Pride's Leonard Wood was substituted for Darryl Anderson. Jane Austen Pride made a substitution. Peter Bamforth replaced Bachittar Singh. In the 90th minute of the game Kajetan Winograd made a throw-in which Nikos Savakis played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kalkhas Haritopoulos in the 93rd minute of play forced Jane Austen Pride's goalkeeper John Martin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Bamforth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, Atletico Kyperountas could leave the field as winners, despite Jane Austen Pride having more of the ball for most of the match.
