A collision led to Piast Choszczno getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Patryk Slazak hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Eray Salman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piast Choszczno's supporters rose to their feet, but Eray Salman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radomir Dzerwucki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to ПФК Миньор Раднево getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Daniel Shestakov hit a great ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Ryszard Andrzejewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piast Choszczno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryszard Andrzejewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stanislaw Budzynski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomir Dzerwucki having to interfere. Benedykt Czaplicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vihar Kalpakchiev, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Radomir Dzerwucki successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Piast Choszczno players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ПФК Миньор Раднево were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vihar Kalpakchiev to make the kick off.
