Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aqil Mövsümov took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Ariel Martinez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mänsur Rzayev. Azerbaijan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ariel Martinez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 6th minute, Ariel Martinez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mänsur Rzayev was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Mänsur Rzayev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascual Ferrer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mänsur Rzayev having to make a save. 20 minutes into the match, Pingos Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Şair Baloğlanov came free, but Marcial Licerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mänsur Rzayev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ariel Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Azerbaijan's Mänsur Rzayev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Matteo in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Clemente Matteo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pingos Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Matteo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcial Licerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şair Baloğlanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şair Baloğlanov in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Licerio saved Pingos Futbol Club from getting behind. The Azerbaijan fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Azerbaijan's Şair Baloğlanov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Clemente Matteo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mänsur Rzayev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Häsrät Azamämmädov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcial Licerio came out and tried to block the shot, but Häsrät Azamämmädov slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ariel Martinez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Melchor Salomone hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gündüz Haqverdiyev during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcial Licerio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aqil Mövsümov went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 65th match minute, Azerbaijan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Müşfiq Ähäcanov to maneuver through the defense. Pingos Futbol Club's Pedro Pitin was substituted for Alejo Osoitz. Müşfiq Ähäcanov hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Ariel Martinez put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Mänsur Rzayev. After a rather tough play, Pingos Futbol Club's Javier Cefero got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 75th minute Clemente Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mänsur Rzayev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Pingos Futbol Club's Mänsur Rzayev threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Clemente Matteo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 82nd minute, Pingos Futbol Club's Javier Cefero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mänsur Rzayev. Mänsur Rzayev yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. Pingos Futbol Club's Arsenio Laffitte was substituted for Clemente Matteo. Pingos Futbol Club made a substitution. Rogelio Ezkerra replaced Ariel Martinez. Arsenio Laffitte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Mänsur Rzayev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Pingos Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Cefero to maneuver through the defense. Mänsur Rzayev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arsenio Laffitte's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Pingos Futbol Club played a much better game than Azerbaijan and deserved their victory. The Azerbaijan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
