Chinese CJ Youth Academy were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Turgut Soyuer took the corner. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Turgut Soyuer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dimosthenis Doukatelis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. David Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmy Søderberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Jimmy Søderberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of David Abad. Jimmy Søderberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Liu Kun Zhen struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Dimosthenis Doukatelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chinese CJ Youth Academy. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Cui Peng Shi was substituted for Liu Kun Zhen. In the 37th minute Turgut Soyuer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimosthenis Doukatelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Abad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petros Mousa in the 38th minute. Şükrü Yavuzcan hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Turgut Soyuer was the one to do the kick off. David Abad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽'s Dimosthenis Doukatelis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽ from getting a goal against them. David Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petros Mousa in the 80th minute of play. Luan Pombo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimosthenis Doukatelis having to interfere.
