Cecilio Orlin came out and tried to block the shot, but Everardo Blasco slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 21st minute. Cecilio Orlin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Everardo Blasco in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Banda Norte's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Blasco came free, but Cecilio Orlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Hanot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Ferdinand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlando Rivero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Hanot having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Banda Norte's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Blasco came free, but Cecilio Orlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Hanot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel Messi in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Orlando Rivero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everardo Blasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cecilio Orlin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. If Everardo Blasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Furia Calamar getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Everardo Blasco hit a great ball. With a little luck, Furia Calamar's Daniel Hanot got control of the ball when Pascual Ferdinand tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Everardo Blasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cecilio Orlin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Everardo Blasco's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. When Furia Calamar's Everardo Blasco in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A well-hit corner resulted in Jairo Ihazintu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.
