Marshrose's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gunnar Hellkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 15 minutes in the game Julio Kearney did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ruben Le. The audience thought a goal was coming when Derrick Osborne got free with Sonny Söderström in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A sloppy throw-in by Julio Kearney in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Karlsborg's Villiam Andersson. In the 20th minute of the match, Norbert Garland tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sonny Söderström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Karlsborg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Norbert Garland was slow to take the kick. During this time Marshrose's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Marshrose's corner Norbert Garland fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sonny Söderström quite easily take care of the ball. Sonny Söderström came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Marshrose's Edwardo McDermott. But to his dismay, Edwardo McDermott quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 29th minute of the match Jimmy Kilstedt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rupert McClure skillfully saved the ball. Villiam Andersson's late challenge caught a Marshrose's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Villiam Andersson helped the player get up and apologised. Villiam Andersson kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Rupert McClure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villiam Andersson in the 35th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gunnar Hellkvist was the one to do the kick off. Sonny Söderström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derrick Osborne in the 53rd minute of the match. If Gunnar Hellkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 played minutes Karlsborg got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Kilberg. 68 minutes into the match, Jimmy Kilberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rupert McClure, 2-3. Sonny Söderström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Le in the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Norbert Garland notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Karlsborg's Sonny Söderström. Sonny Söderström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derrick Osborne in the 95th minute of play forced Karlsborg's goalkeeper Sonny Söderström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
