In the 2ndth minute of the game Golo Doro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Legia Warszawa's Zenon Pleban was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Golo Doro came free, but Zenon Pleban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Bartlomiej Buczko fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ludomir Gleba, passed just outside the right post. In the 9th minute, AC Milan's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leszek Podwojski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Golo Doro in the 11th minute of play forced Legia Warszawa's goalkeeper Zenon Pleban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Arias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zenon Pleban having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Arias in the 12th minute of play forced Legia Warszawa's goalkeeper Zenon Pleban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zenon Pleban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Lucero, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Golo Doro came free, but Zenon Pleban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AC Milan were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Legia Warszawa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristian Fagildo took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Tomiczek in the 25th minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper Ludomir Gleba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Arias came free, but Zenon Pleban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 minutes Legia Warszawa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristian Fagildo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on AC Milan's corner Cristian Fagildo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zenon Pleban quite easily take care of the ball. In the 32nd minute Santiago Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Pleban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Golo Doro came free, but Zenon Pleban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, AC Milan's Dionisio Evarado got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Zenon Pleban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Arias, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 46 minutes of play, AC Milan's Golo Doro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zenon Pleban was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After having played for 54 minutes, Federico Lucero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Milan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Lucero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zenon Pleban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Golo Doro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zenon Pleban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Golo Doro in the 63rd minute of the match. AC Milan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristian Fagildo in the 66th minute. A nice corner shot did that Cristian Fagildo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zenon Pleban quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 67th minute Blagovest Parushev suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Leszek Podwojski fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Legia Warszawa's protests and gave Leszek Podwojski a yellow card for diving instead. Leszek Podwojski kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute of the match Dionisio Evarado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zenon Pleban skillfully saved the ball. Zenon Pleban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Evarado in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute of the match AC Milan got a corner. Legia Warszawa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristian Fagildo ran over to the corner to take the kick. AC Milan's Cristian Fagildo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zenon Pleban in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Karol Tomiczek took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ludomir Gleba. Ludomir Gleba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Dario Taglieri kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Cristian Fagildo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zenon Pleban showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Leszek Podwojski notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of AC Milan's Ludomir Gleba. Ludomir Gleba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Federico Lucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Legia Warszawa fans cheered their team off the field, for while AC Milan had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
